What makes it so hard to get along, or just communicate, with our intimate
partners?
We bring to our intimate relationships the baggage of a lifetime. The
closer the relationship, the more this baggage comes into play.
What makes it difficult for couples to communicate, and what can we
do to make it easier? This was the topic of a one-hour conversation
between Serge
Prengel and Maggie Pascal on her radio show.
The following recording provides excepts of that conversation... condensed
into a 7 1/2 minute recording.
There are 2 ways to listen to this recording:
-
Right-click here on "Download MP3", and save the recording to your computer. You can then listen to it on your computer or on any portable MP3 device.
-
Or listen to this recording from the website, without downloading it. To use the Flash player below, click on the "Play" symbol.
If you see this text instead of the image of a sound player, you need to download flash (see note below)
Please note:
- To start, press the "Play" button:
- Once it has started to play, you will see a "Pause" button:
- The sound level is controlled from the player.
BUT it will only go as loud as your computer's sound setting (and will not give out any sound if your computer's sound is on "mute". To adjust your sound settings on a Windows computer, go to the "Control
Panel," click on "Sound" and adjust the volume. If you
have external speakers, make sure they are on and the volume is adjusted
properly.
- If you see text instead of the Flash player graphics, this means you do not have Flash installed on your computer.
You can either download Flash... or you can save the file to your computer and play it there or on an MP3 player.
