For the record, I am not yet divorced, but have been separated
for almost 6 months now. I've tried mediation to resolve our differences,
but this has broken down and now lawyers are involved. I've had
shared physical custody via birdnesting for the last 5 weeks as
a result of a temporary relief from abuse order that I filed against
my former spouse for hitting me in front of the children.
A picture is worth a thousand words and that is exactly what this
photo shows of me and my boys. Jeffrey and Timothy love to laugh
and play with their dad. Today, I took an entire roll of pictures:
the boys together, the boys individually, and the boys with dad.
Goofy ones and serious ones. I have such a bond with my children
that I can't image someone taking them away from me. I'm fighting
for shared custody but their mom thinks that it's not in the best
interest of the children. I can only present my case and hope
for the best for my kids.
Thanks for all of the information your website provides. I'm willing
to be interviewed or participate in a study; I'm living proof
that men can love and nurture their children as well as women
can.
